Max FlyBall

K9ARC has the only FlyBall team in Ireland, we train on Wednesday evenings. If you are interested in joining us ring 028 97533890

The team consists of Jean & Max, Siobhan & Jake, Amanda & Jessica, Kerry & Suki, Karen/Darren & Bailey, With Irene & Red and Irene & Soda as well.

This sport is for very active ball oriented dogs, it is easy to learn fast and furious. Handler doesnt need to be quite so fit, but a good set of lungs [for calling your dog] is required. Come to one of our obedience classes to learn the basic obedience and socialisation skills your k9requires and ask about FlyBall training if you are interested in having a go.

As the only FlyBall Team in Ireland we are having difficulty getting  competitors. Several have been down to the IADSA Shows where FlyBall fun runs have been available. We now want real competition, so if you are interested in starting a team, let us know.

We have K9Flyball team training on Wednesday evenings and have now started a new starter FlyBall class afterwards, so if you are interested in teaching your dog Flyball give us a call on 02897 533890 0796 3735969 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. K9ARC will be running a 'Learn FlyBall' day workshop  and holding  an open  FlyBall competition the following weekend for those who want to learn and compete in this new sport to Ireland/Northern Ireland.

We have several 'trainer' FlyBall boxes as seen in the photograph and two British FlyBall Association (BFA) competition boxes, so your k9 will learn both.

Even if you don't intend to go  onto compete at FlyBall, it is great fun to teach your k9 and FlyBall, is a great spectator sport and a fun way of focusing and exercising your k9 .

Several of K9ARCs best FlyBall dogs were previously highly reactive around other k9s and FlyBall has given them a 'job' they can focus on as well as drained their previous  negative energy. they all now work as a team and are well behaved k9s.
